Discussion 1: The leadership theory in practice
This is the best example I’ve seen of a leader. Although he is the leader of a large engineering team, he makes sure to spend time getting to know every member and to value their opinions in order to make decisions. To encourage open discussion, he welcomes constructive criticism and creates a space that allows for everyone to come together in the search of solutions. He also ensures that all voices are heard and gives authority when required.
He also has strong conflict management skills, communicating clearly expectations to employees and giving them feedback about their performance. Additionally, he is meticulous and pays attention to details. He ensures all deadlines are met. Overall it has been very inspiring how well his leadership style has enabled our team reach great successes – both big small . This leader is an example of effective leadership by displaying such remarkable traits.
