Briefly describe the process you used to answer the question. i.e. how you formulated a searchable question and developed a search strategy.

To answer the question I created a searchable query based on what was provided. My initial question was “What is the appropriate diagnostic workup for a patient with fever, malaise, chest pain and shortness of breath?”. Then I developed a search strategy using keywords such as ‘diagnostic workup’, ‘fever’, ‘chest pain’ and ‘shortness of breath’ in order to find related articles from academic journals and other sources. Following my search I found several articles relevant to my query and then synthesized the content into my response. To help me with my answers, I also consulted several textbooks on possible differential diagnoses of these symptoms. In order to ensure the accuracy of my response, I cross-referenced information from different sources when possible.
