The health community is a way to communicate with people from different cultures.

A lack of communication can lead to serious consequences for the patient and their healthcare system.

It could also lead to patient dissatisfaction, as patients may expect more detailed follow up once they have left the hospital. This can result in poor reviews and possibly decreased use of services. It may increase the liability of the hospital due to negligence, which could have serious financial consequences depending on how they are sued.
All these issues are a reminder of why proper protocols must be followed in discharging patients. They will receive the best possible follow-up care, and can avoid legal problems down the road.
