Non-alcoholic beverages are seeing an increase in healthier, more natural products. The trend towards healthier and more natural beverages includes kombucha, probiotic drinks, coconut water, and other plant-based beverages. Functional beverages with nutritional benefits are also in demand. Because of their lower sugar levels, sweeteners other than sugar are also more in demand.
In the specific category I have chosen – coffee – there is a trend towards specialty coffee drinks. These coffee drinks are becoming more popular because of their unique flavours and aromas. They have less caffeine than regular brewed coffee, which helps consumers stay awake.
The overall trend is clear: people are more conscious of the benefits that certain products have for their health. As result demand for non-alcoholic options steadily rising particularly where natural/functional ingredients involved resulting shift away from sugary sodas energy drinks market today—with various opportunities arise those willing capitalize upon new trends moving forward.
