Discussion 3/1 | nurse | gcu
Sure, I’d be happy to review the substantive posting requirements that have been shared in the forum and announcements.
For peers to be credited for their responses, the response must be original. The response must meet these criteria:
- Recognize what your peer said: Your post should start by acknowledging the other person’s response, regardless of whether it is an agreement or disagreement.
- Add additional information. The post must include any additional information that will enrich the discussion, clarify any misunderstandings, and/or expand on the topic.
- Post should be closed with an open-ended question. This will encourage more discussion.
These guidelines are vital to foster a constructive and healthy discussion climate where all members can have meaningful conversations that allow them to learn from one another. By following these guidelines, we can ensure that everyone’s contributions are valued, and that we create a community of learning that benefits all members.
