Discussion 1.
Journal of Nursing Education is my preferred professional journal to publish the results of my research. The Journal of Nursing Education is a respected journal in nursing. It publishes evidence-based research projects and practice studies that relate to nursing education. This journal’s audience includes researchers and nurses, who are in line with my target audience.
National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists’ annual conference is where I want to present the project. My project is well-suited for presentation at this conference, which brings together nursing specialists across the nation to discuss best practices and research. This conference is in line with my goals, as it aims to increase patient outcomes through the implementation of evidence-based practice in clinical settings.
Discussion 2
Evidence-based Practice (EBP), a vital component in the BSN-prepared RN’s practice is essential. EBP improves patient outcomes, quality care and professional development. BSN-trained RN will ensure that evidence is integrated into my practice. I will review the current research as well as guidelines in relation to my specialty. To keep up to date on nursing practices, I’ll also look for opportunities to take continuing education classes and conference.
In my clinic, I will encourage evidence-based practice integration. My colleagues will be encouraged to take part in continuing education and professional learning activities that are related to evidence-based practices. In order to help other healthcare professionals identify and overcome barriers in implementing evidence-based practice, I’ll be working with them to develop strategies.
My plan could be hampered by lack of resources, resistance, or lack of management support. In order to minimize these challenges, I will search for funding opportunities and grant requests to fund ongoing education and training on evidence-based practice. My colleagues and the management will be working closely together to create a culture that is evidence-based and provide a conducive environment for professional and personal growth.
