CSR (corporate social responsibility) refers to businesses that take an active part in social and environmental problems while contributing to economic growth. It involves companies that demonstrate sustainability and ethical behavior, such as using fair labor practices or encouraging human rights. Patagonia is one example of a socially responsible company. Tesla Motors is another. Patagonia has a commitment to the protection of the environment. They use natural materials in production and invest in renewable energy sources. Tesla Motors is working hard to create innovative electric vehicles that lower emissions. Additionally, they have begun developing solar panels systems that allow residents of the United States to generate their own renewable electricity. Both these companies show how meaningful corporate social responsibility can result in positive actions that are beneficial to society as well as the environment.
