With the knowledge I’ve gained about patient-centered approach in nursing education, it is something I want to put into practice both inside and outside of the classroom. As a student in the nursing program, I intend to make use of what I know by actively participating in discussion on topics related to symptom management and communication skills. This will allow me to gain an understanding of best practices for treating patients in clinical settings. Additionally, I plan on being an active member within my school’s student organization which focuses on advocating for improved healthcare practices nationwide so that my peers & myself can better proficiently engage with members from local communities in order further advance our collective knowledge & expertise.

In addition to my studies, I plan on using what I know by volunteering in healthcare-related facilities or organizations within my region. By doing so – not only will it give me valuable hands-on experience but will also be able to provide assistance while gaining insight into different types of treatments employed across various populations. Furthermore, engaging with local advocacy groups or policy makers associated with healthcare initiatives would be beneficial as well since they often play a major role in shaping future legislation regarding patient rights & services offered throughout respective states/counties etc… In conclusion, by actively applying what has been taught in class along with practical experiences gained through service work – it is possible for me to continue growing both professionally & personally down the road when practicing as an NP.
