For Week 1, the learning objectives include: analyzing business strategies to grow healthcare organizations, analysing consumer decision-making processes and factors that influence or maintain customer loyalty and summarizing successful service characteristics and applying them in a marketing plan to healthcare organizations.
Students will be able to explore strategy, and what organizations can do with it. The students will be examining strategic development, its implications on various planning processes, such as business, marketing, and strategic. Students will also review the competitive market, and examine factors that could affect environmental trends.
The focus for Week 1 will be on understanding and applying different strategies to help a healthcare company grow and maintain itself in a highly competitive market. There is a special emphasis on marketing and consumer behavior.
