Thank you for writing paper.
Both Microsoft and Verizon have created codes of ethics to help employees adhere to ethical principles in all aspects of their workday.
The code outlines how employees should behave in each company. They both stress that compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements is essential, that integrity and honesty should be maintained when dealing with customers and colleagues and that everyone must be treated with respect regardless of race or background. Both companies also recognize the importance of protecting customer data/privacy – whether it is Microsoft’s “Privacy Statement” or Verizon’s “Data Privacy Guidelines.”
There are differences in the codes. While Microsoft is known for its innovation, Verizon emphasizes teamwork and the importance of collaboration. Additionally, there may be different employee regulations regarding confidentiality in Microsoft’s Code depending on job functions that do not appear in Verizon’s Code; such as limiting access to sensitive documents like source codes etc. Lastly, each company has implemented different standards for resolving conflicts within an organization than one another – i.e., how disciplinary proceedings should occur if any misconduct was reported against an employee.
