What variances can you identify on your project to date?

To date there have been many variances in this project, such as delays caused by unanticipated difficulties in obtaining materials or changes to the technical scope because of regulatory requirements. Unexpected costs related to software components were also discovered that weren’t included in initial budget estimates.

In order to deal with these problems, the team developed contingency plans that included exploring other sources of materials and revising payment terms in an effort to reduce financial losses due to scope changes. To accommodate potential setbacks and delays due to external factors such as technology limitations, vendor availability or technical limitations, our timelines were also revised.

These variances were not a problem for our team. We managed to keep the focus on providing a high-quality product in accordance with its intended purpose and to adjust budget limits as necessary.
