Talk about a distributor, wholesaler and retailer.
Real-World Example:
Wholesaler: Costco is a big store that supplies bulk products to individuals and businesses.
Distributor: Amazon Fulfillment Services. They stock the products of manufacturers, and ship them to retailers.
Walmart Supercenter, which is the place for the consumer to purchase personal products from directly the retailer.
The differences among them are as follows: A wholesaler is typically a business or company that buys goods in large quantities from manufacturers and then resells those goods at lower prices to other businesses (distributors) or in some cases directly-to-consumers (retailers). The distributors buy goods from wholesalers. Once they have stored the items in their warehouses, they ship the products to retail customers. Final, retailers offer direct sales to their customers. They often provide discounts for customers or allow customers the convenience of online shopping.
