Organizations must create protocols and procedures that ensure high quality care for patients suffering from long-term bone fractures. Training seminars could be offered to all healthcare workers on pain management protocols and guidelines (Crawford, et al. 2015).
Additional interventions may include implementation of rapid response teams to identify high risk cases quickly and provide appropriate treatment, physicians should be given the right tools and resources to monitor outcomes of their actions, increasing the use of patient-reported outcome measures to track improvements in patient experience (Herve & Horowitz, 2017).
